Raw Artist Circle

In collaboration with the Bronx Council on the Arts, we are calling artists, writers, creatives to share Raw art and works in progress in a safe and authentic space.

About the Facilitator:

Rabih Ahmed is a Ghanaian-American Muslim poet and educator from The Bronx. Her poetry is grounded within the oral traditions and histories of the African Diaspora, binding narratives across the Atlantic. She has performed her poetry at the Apollo Theatre, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, and throughout the African diaspora. In 2017, she founded LOVE LIGHT & POETRY to offer poetry as a liberatory tool for healing and collective transformation.
