Connect with the Motherland through poetry and your tastebuds. In this uniquely curated workshop, we will honor the work of Ghanian poet, Ama Ata Aidoo and the work of Afro-Colombian poet, Mary Grueso Romero. Through lyric poetry, participants will be in conversation with the African continent and examining their role in the diaspora. Each workshop ticket includes a plate of homemade Ghanian Jollof , stew, and plantains.
